AHSCU-WORKSHOP:
“3D Educational Media Development for Medical Mycology”
I would like to sincerely thank Assoc. Prof. Dr. Navaporn Worasilpchai and Pachara Tanubamrungsuk, M.Sc., from the Center of Excellence for Medical Mycology (MedMyCoE), Department of Transfusion Medicine and Clinical Microbiology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, for inviting me as a guest lecturer in the training workshop on “3D Educational Media Development for Medical Mycology.” The program not only introduced new approaches to teaching medical mycology but also involved the actual production of 3D models to support research presentations.
During the workshop, we developed eight student-drawn character designs into prototypes using AI (ChatGPT) for concept generation and AI (Hunyuan) for 3D modeling. The models were refined based on feedback from faculty members and students using ZBrush (iPad) and later produced as physical models with 3D Printing (SLA) technology (15–25 cm in size). The entire production process took approximately 30 days.
